Wreck
The steam ship navigating under the French flag has sunken in July 1948 near the lighthouse at Cape St. Vincent on a sandy ground. Because the wreck is during the winter months, sometimes exposed to strong currents and storms, and after the war with government approval some metal was removed, it is already pretty much disintegrated and dispersed over a large area. The wreck lays in east - western direction at a depth between 24m to 27m. You can still see some structures of the deck, anchors and other parts of the ship.Type of ship: steamship
Nationality: French
Cargo: skins
Sunk: 27/07/1948
