'Tapilon' Wreck

Deep Wreck
The 'Tapilon' is a WWII Japanese wreck nicknamed after a nearby town. Sunk in battle in 1944 the wreck is badly damaged however artifacts continue to reveal themselves. Old artillery shells still scatter the site as well as quirky remnants such as war era telephones, Japanese Navy footwear and uniforms and even a partial skeleton at one time.
