TRIPADVISOR, FEBRUARY 26th 2011My wife and I spent a week diving on Malapascua in early January. Besides the fact that they are a really professionally run dive school, teach technical diving, so you know how qualified these two guys are, English Matt & Irish David. They have a brand new boat and new gear, so the set up is top quality. From day 1 everyone knows you by your name. From the guys who look after the gear, the dive guides to the girls behind the 'Craic House Bar'. You don't get a more personal service then that...and it is only the start! They employ all locals and our dive guide for the week JoJo, who we nicknamed him Elvis because of his hair, knew all the best spots, what there was to see and was also great fun. His father was a fisherman and you can tell it is in his blood, having swum in those waters as a kid, he oozes the enthusiasm that Evolution bring to the table. We had our 100th dive on the Gato island nearby seeing sharks, water snakes, pigmy sea horses and so much more. Evolution made our diving week here one of he best we ever had, even though we had mixed weather, we were really unlucky and didn't see the thresher sharks (and by god did we try!!), but a big Devil Ray instead (not bad).Add into the mix the craic fueled nights we enjoyed in the 'Craic House Bar' which serves really good food and where the lovely Emma made sure our cold beers were at the ready after the day's activities. It really was a top experience!!Thanks a mill to Matt & Dave, we hope to be back one day.Downunder_123http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g659555-d1745258-r98090055-Evolution_Diving-Malapascua_Island_Visayas.html#REVIEWS
