South Red Sea Dive Team is there for you every day from 8.00am until 5.30pm (6.00pm in the summer). They look forward helping you organize your diving and to sharing your diving experiences. At the end of the day you can sit at our dive centre bar to enjoy the lovely sea view and relax in the friendly atmosphere.

5 Days Unlimited Shore Diving
The Red Sea is one of the best diving destinations in the world and the House Reef at South Red Sea is one of the best dive sites in the whole Red Sea.
With this package you can dive as much as you like on the House Reef between 08h00 and 17h30. Tanks, weights and weightbelts are provided.
Your first dive will be a check dive unless you have a professional level cetification. During this dive we help you to become correctly weighted for the Red Sea (it is very salty) and ask you to complete 3 very simple exercises before taking you on a guided tour of the reef. Your guide will point out the places of interest and, if you are lucky, you may come across our resident Great Barracuda or our family of Napoleon Fish, not to mention the turtles and dolphins who visit from time to time.
The guiding service for this dive is included in the price.
The entry is easy with a gradually sloping bottom reaching depths up to 42m.
Minimum Experience level: Open Water Diver with a minimum of 25 logged and verified dives needed to dive unguided. Open Water Divers who do not have enough dives for unguided diving may book a guide at the Dive Centre on arrival for 5Euro per person per dive.

Discover Scuba Diving (DSD)
This is the perfect way for non-divers to discover the beauty and magic of the underwater world in the Red Sea.
DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING is a full day PADI programme for those who want to discover the underwater world with an instructor and don't have a certification. You can credit your Discover Scuba experience towards the PADI Open Water Course.
The programme comprises a theory session, a practical training session in confined water and a lovely dive on the house reef. Equipment and environmental tax are included.
PREREQUISITES: Min. 10 years with a completed medical questionnaire and permission from parents or guardians for minors.

PADI Open Water Diver Course
PADI is the world's leading diver training agency and this course will gain you the coveted PADI Open Water Diver certification.
OPEN WATER DIVER is a certification that allows you to dive independently with your dive buddy and without an instructor.
Recognised world wide this is your gateway to the amazing underwater world.
The theory sessions will teach you how to plan your dives within safety limits while the practical training sessions in a protected environment will teach you the skills to carry out your plan. There are also 4 dives in open water to a maximum depth of 18m (12m for children under 12).
This is a 4-day course with equipment, instructor, transfers (if needed) and environmental taxes included. The course manual and certification fees are not included in the price but are paid locally at the dive centre.
PREREQUISITES: Min. 10 years with a completed medical questionnaire and permission from parents or guardians for minors.
This course can be conducted in a variety of languages so we ask you to let us know your language preference when making your booking.

5 Days Mix and Match!
Experience the myriad amazing sites along the El Quseir coast with this flexible 5-day mix and match package.
You spend 2 days (4 dives) exploring our fantastic House Reef and 3 days(6 dives) broadening your horizons and visiting sites a little further afield with either our Zodiac or our Speed Boat (depending on the sites you choose to visit).
Tanks, weights, weight-belts and transfers (if needed) are included.
All divers who do not hold professional certifications will be asked to make a check dive. During this dive we help you set your weight correctly for the salty water of the Red Sea and ask you to perform 3 very simple exercises before taking you for an orientation along our house reef to meet some of our residents. The check dive is included in the price.
Please note that to dive unguided you need to be at least an Open Water Diver or equivalent with a minimum of 25 logged and verified dives. If you have not logged enough dives to be unguided you can reserve your guide in the diving centre for 5Euro per person per dive.

We really do offer something for everyone from 8 years upwards. For divers we offer a variety of dives on our house reef from the shore or from our Zodiac (one way and two way drift dives) as well as dives a little further afield with our new speed boat. We also have a boat at Port Ghalib to allow you to explore the sites a little more to the south, such as Marsa Mubarak and Elphinstone. We can organise night dives and sunrise dives for you. For non divers we offer Bubblemaker for the younger members of the family (age 8 to 9 years) to experience their first breaths under water. For older children and adults we offer introduction dives (an ideal way to discover the joys of diving) or Discover Scuba Diving (a PADI programme which can be credited towards the Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certifications). We also offer a full range of PADI courses from Scuba Diver to Divemaster.
