We had booked a two day dive trip to Sataya this summer, paid in the Netherlands (fortunately via Paypal). It would be the highlight of our journey! Unfortunately, it was a low point. A day before we would leave, we received an email from them stating that we had to be ready at 7 o'clock at our hotel reception. There we were with all our diving gear and suitcase for the night. They did not show up, after having called back and forth we were told that they had canceled our trip. We would get our money back. In the week that we were in Egypt, all kinds of promises were made about the reimbursement but nothing was received. We did not have to worry, if we were back in the Netherlands it would be fine, the € 675 would be refunded. After two months nothing, after many phone calls and email was at a certain moment no longer responded. We have filed a dispute with Paypal which also was not responded to by Aquatic divers, the dispute after two weeks turned into a claim, also here from their no response after which Paypal the money itself has booked back! My advice, do not book here, you do this, always pay via Paypal!

I have been to El Quseir several times but now I met the Crew from Aquatic Divers, who opened a new Diving Center with two bases, one in Zerib Kebir (at a beautiful bay which enables great dives for beginners and experienced divers) and another at the Fanadir Resort. The Fanadir Resort is my favorite place in Egypt for it is a small Hotel without all the trouble which may be caused by main tourism, but is clean, friendly and extraordinary friendly. And the Aquatic Dive Center fits perfectly to this hotel. Adeva and Miso (the Managers) provide good equipments and great service - and there is a gorgeous house reef with lots of Canyons, Caves and fish. So the combination of Fanadir Hotel und Aquatic divers will be one the most recommended places for divers who like a familiar atmosphere and the possibility for great dives.
