Serib Soraya

Reef

Serib Soraya is around 10km to the south of El Quseir town. This is a great little dive site within easy
reach of town for both shore and boat diving. Entry is a short walk over the flat reef top. Step into
the water where the depth is around 5metres. Here the bottom slopes away to 20metres where you
can find garden Eels and many blue spotted rays nestling in the sand. Continue the dive to the south
following the reef wall and after about 10-15 mins drop down to 30/35metres where you will find a
huge anemone colony covering the small coral and rock formations littering the sandy bottom.This site
is ideal for advanced divers and those with deep specialities. Visability is usually very good due to its
depth. Ideal for under water photography.

For those that don't mind a longer dive, as in 70 minutes plus, and have very good air consumption, this
is a site that you can do as a one way ,one kilometer dive to the next site Serib Kebir.
