Have you ever thought of diving but just don’t have the time?

Well here at Exotic in just half a day you can experience the delights of the underwater world, through our professional PADI instructor led Discover Scuba Diving program. After a straightforward knowledge development session covering equipment, safety and diving skills you are ready to discover the attractions of underwater Malapascua in one of our secluded dive sites, just a short boat journey from Exotic Resort. A shallow in-water skill session is followed by a gentle dive on one our reefs reaching a maximum depth of 12mts.

Upon completion you will receive a certificate of recognition, which can be used as credit towards your full Open Water Certification.

Open Water Course (3 to 4 days)

IThe most popular scuba diving course in the world is the PADI Open Water Course. This course gives you the foundational knowledge and skills you need to be able to dive with a buddy independent of supervision. The course consists of classroom sessions, where you learn about the theory of diving through watching PADI videos and completing Knowledge Reviews, followed by a simple exam. There are five confined water sessions (often combined), where you take your first breaths underwater and learn how to complete some basic diving skills. There are also four open water dives, where you put into practice what you learn in confined water, as well as enjoying the wonders under the ocean.

The course includes the PADI Open Water manual, log book, recreational dive planner, certification and use of all required diving equipment. Upon completion you will receive a lifelong PADI certification card, which is recognized worldwide and allows you dive to a maximum 18 meters depth.

Advanced Open Water (2 to 3 days)

If you are already a certified open water diver who would like to gain more knowledge and experience in diving then the Advanced course is for you. Maybe you want to dive Monad Shoal to see the Thresher sharks? Have you wondered what it is like down at 30mt/100ft or how different things look at night, or how your dive leader always finds the boat and can identify so many different fish species? The answer to all these questions and more is in the PADI Advanced Open Water course. The course consists of 5 dives in different specialty areas, as well as their corresponding knowledge development sessions. Depending on your choices of dives, the course can be completed in as little as 2 days. The two obligatory dives are the deep dive, and the navigation dive. You then chose three dives from any of the following that interest you:

Aware Fish ID, Boat, Drift, Enriched air Nitrox, Multilevel, Naturalist, Night, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Photography, Search & Recovery or Wreck.
