SS Seagull Wreck
North Male Atoll, Maldives
Cave Deep Wreck Reef
In 1879, this ship sunk at the north of the Gaafaru region in north male. 1000 tons of boat that remains in 45º at the reef edge, with the anchor on the reef top being visible during low tide. The reef slopes down to 50m but is pointless to go deeper than 30, where there is a small cave. The ship wreck is a bit difficult to recognize, as is completely incrusted with coral and lots of pieces are scattered around the area.
