Big Fishes Deep Reef Drift
We reach Bodega de Marc within a 15 minute boat trip from RIU Touareg Dive Center. It is located close to Santa Monica Beach and not far away from Cret-Cheu. The surface current here can be strong so it is important to get down along the line quickly. You will reach the sandy bottom sprinkled with big and medium sized big rocks at about 19 metres. The first thing you will notice around you is the reddish sea fan that sticks up like fingers from the reef structure. Glide along and let the current carry you away. Plenty of big holes invite to take a look for sharks or lobsters. Amberjacks might join you along the way as you discover the reef top and search for nudibranchs, scorpion fish or fire worms. Keep an eye on your NDL and air consumption and take time for a safety stop in the blue. Enjoy hanging here inside a school of fish and watch the Trevallys shooting in.
