Scubacaribe Boa Vista

ScubaCaribe in Cape Verde on the Island Boa Vista has two PADI 5 Star Dive Center and Water Sports Centers located in north-west of the island, on the beautiful, white beach of Riu Karamboa Hotel and in the southern part of island, in Riu Toareg Hotel.

Diving at coasts of Boa Vista is an exciting nature experience. Surrounded by volcanos, enormous dunes and vibrant underwater life, is a paradise for nature lovers. We offer daily scuba diving trips to the most interesting dive sites such as Atlantida which is a rock platform covering half a mile area with different
depths and shapes making this dive a unique experience. All of the dive sites are reachable within a quick max. 20 minutes boat ride from our dive center.

The biggest attraction will be undoubtedly various species of rays and nurse sharks which can be seen resting in the sand throughout the year. In additional during a winter time, with some luck and good eye you can spot sand tiger sharks!

The dive conditions in Boa Vista may vary due to changing weather during year, bringing in some of the periods rains or strong wind. Because of this fact, diving from January until April in Boa Vista may be problematic. On the other hand, this period, with strong wind is a perfect time for lovers of wind and
kitesurfers.

Our professional team will always choose a right dive spot taking in consideration current weather conditions, experience and interest of divers. We dive in small groups which are led by instructors or experienced dive masters.

As our dive center are located on the beautiful wide long beach, everyone can enjoy different sport activities using our new and well maintained equipment. Apart from diving, ScubaCaribe has in the offer water sport equipment kayaks, paddle boat, small catamaran and others.

Please note that divers who haven’t dived for a long time may be asked to do a Refresh Course.
