- Air Temperature: tropical temperate with a low of 20ºC and high of 30ºC
- Currents: There can be strong currents along the coast causing bad visibility and tough diving conditions. Best to check with the local dive centre which site is best for your certification level.
- Average Depth: All depths from 5m to 40m for all certification levels beginners to advanced.
- Recommended Equipment: Normal scuba equipment, full wetsuit 3mm or more.
- Highlights: Acapulco - Los Bajos de la Quebrada, Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo - Los Morros de Potosi and Solitary Rock.
- Seasons: the best time to dive is from February to August
