Sumhuram Divers

Sumhuram Divers opened its doors in September 2018 run by Frank & Markus from Germany. The Dive Center is located in beautiful Mirbat as a part of the Roshan Resort. Dives can be combined with a stay at our resort or a pick up can be arranged for people staying elsewhere in the Salalah Area.

The Dive center consists of a reception, classroom for Padi courses, a workshop and the storeroom for personal and dive school equipment. Equipment can be rented on site if necessary. We provide all new Scubapro Dive equipment for rental and retail, 100 new 12 Liter Tanks and two L&W Compressors.

The Ashante, our 40ft Vessel with 2 powerful 200PS enginges, takes you comfortably and quickly to dive sites in the area. The boat has a small toilet, shower and a 200L freshwater tank. Between and after dives we offer cold refreshments and snacks on the boat to ensure comfort on your way back to the center. For safety we carry 2 DAN Oxygen Kits with AED as well as a First Aid box.

On arrival we´ll ensure a smooth registration process in the diving center and equip you with necessary gear for your stay. Own gear can be stored safely on the premises. Our Dive center staff will assist you with your every need, give you information about courses and dive sites, and arrange a customized plan for your stay.

The Center is also the starting point for house reef diving and the bay offers confined water conditions for dive course.

Oman is full of unexplored dive sites and offers diving for all levels in a sea bursting with marine life, thanks to the nutrient rich waters of Oman, that help boost the growth of fish and other organisms. Depending on the season, you can also encounter dolphins, turtles and even humpback whales migrating along the coast line. For the macro lovers out there, you can find a wide variety of nudibranches and crustaceans, whilst wreck divers can explore the local Chinese and Mariott Wrecks.
