PADI Open Water Course

The PADI Open Water Course (OWD) is your first step into scuba diving and certifies you to dive anywhere in the world together with a diving buddy to a maximum depth of 18 meters.

The course takes some 4 days to complete and we have courses starting pretty much every day with small group sizes (average of 2 to 4 students, maximum of 6 students per instructor).

COURSE PREREQUISITES:
- You must know how to swim (there will be a 200m swim test)
- You must know how to float (there will be a 10minute float test)
- You need to be able to answer all questions in the PADI medical form with NO

Our PADI OWD course fees including everything you need for it like the student manual, equipment rental, instructor fee and certification fee.

ONLINE STUDY OPTION
You have the option to study the entire theory online before your arrival. This is called eLearning and has the benefit that you can study in your preferred language and convenience and will have more leisure time on the island. eLearning is a service offered by PADI who will charge you AUD 184.00 for it once you sign-up. We can give you a discount on our packages of MYR 155.00 if you conduct the eLearning.

3D/2N PADI Advanced Open Water course

The PADI Advanced Open Water Course (AOW) certifies you to dive to a depth of 30meters and is the required certification level in many dive destinations.

The course includes 5 adventure dives and can be completed in 2 full days. There will be no final exam and the only homework you have to do is to read the appropriate sections in the AOW Student Manual and answer the questions at the end of each chapter.

You’ll conduct the following dives:
- Peak Performance Buoyancy
- Underwater Navigation
- Deep Diving
- Night diving (can be changed to another adventure dive if you prefer)
- Final adventure dive for you to choose (i.e. wreck diving, fish identification, drift diving)

COURSE PREREQUISITES:
- You must already be a PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent from another organisation)
- You need to be able to answer all questions in the PADI medical form with NO

NITROX ADD-ON:
Another great option is to combine your AOW course together with the PADI Enriched Air Specialty (Nitrox aka EANx). Diving on Nitrox gives you the advantage of longer bottom times, which is especially important on deeper dives. It further provides additional safety on shallower dives and you will also feel less tired if you dive on Nitrox compared to normal air It is as such no surprise that this is the most sought after course in the world! Just add MYR 500.00 to our AOW packages and you will get both certifications.

Leisure Diving on Tioman Island with B&J

We head out every morning for our day trip, which includes two boat dives at some of the best dive sites around Tioman Island.

Departure is at around 9am and after the first dive we’ll serve you with a local lunch in the vicinity of Coral Island, where you’ll have a good hour surface interval to sunbathe or go snorkelling. The second dive will be at a different dive site and we return to the dive centre between 1pm to 2pm. The departure for our single afternoon dive is at 3:00pm and we return at around 5pm. Night dives are organized daily and you should also not miss our shore muck dives.

Dive groups are always kept small with an average of 4 divers and a maximum of 6 divers per guide. Most importantly we have a 100% safety record ever since our establishment in 1986 and have won the Certificate of Excellence by Tripadvisor!

Costs for diving depends on your trip duration and the accommodation you choose.
