Tioman Island has been a holiday island for many years, it is very popular with locals, Singaporeans and international tourists. It is the largest island on the east coast of the Malay peninsular and has a vast array of resorts, hotels, beaches and natural parks. Similar to other islands along the east coast of Malaysia, Tioman is protected for conservation by the authorities. Travel to Pulau Tioman

Tioman Island (locally known as Gunung Daik Bercabang Tiga) is a small island located 32 km off the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia in the state of Pahang, and is some 39 km long and 12 km wide. It has eight main villages, the largest and most populous being Kampung Tekek in the north. The densely forested island is sparsely inhabited, and is surrounded by numerous coral reefs, making it a popular scuba diving spot. There are also a lot of resorts and chalets around the island. It's in the top 5 spots of Malaysia.

Sadly the "El Niño" huracan, make that the most corals of tha area are bleeching, and lost their natural color (red or brown) for a white, and left this corals only with the skeleton. But all the Divecenter are doing a very hard effor to recover the naturals status.
