Scuba Diving in Malaysia

Malaysia is definitely well known as having the top diving spots in the world! Some of the best are of course the well-known islands of Sipadan and Layang-Layang, which are in Sabah, East Malaysia. Besides these two islands, West Malaysia offers great dive sites in Perhentian Island, Redang Island, and Tioman Island. To the divers, these idyllic pearl-like drops of coral islands in the South China Sea off Sabah & Sarawak are the great attractions. Diving at Sipadan, diving in Kapalai  and diving in Layang Layang conjure thoughts of swirling schools of barracuda and jacks to divers the world over.

Besides Borneo,  the Malay peninsular has plenty of its own underwater gems to explore including diving in Perhentian islands, diving in Redang  and diving in Tioman..
