Dive Siaba Kecil and Besar

Reef

Also within Komodo National Park borders.
This looks like an Airstrip: the strangest dive site in the park! A very long stone rubble road stretching forever along the East coast of Komodo.
It gently slopes off and has big Coral heads at intervals along the road, where you can shelter behind from the current and to check out the marine life there, before taking off in the current again. Here you find a cleaning station often visited by Manta Rays.
Under the Coral ledges you may spot White and Black tip Sharks, Nurse Sharks and Bamboo Sharks.
Leopard Shark as well as Dugongs have been seen around here. Bumphead Parrotfish like the area and many strange Nudibranchs can be found.

Well Siaba Kecil Is not for all divers. Depends when You dive it can be really strong currents there. And Siaba kecil have nothing in common with Siaba Besar. In my opinion best thing to do is to dive Siaba kecil is from north to south. After a drift dive when u swim with reef on Your right hand side through the kind of canyon You will have lots of overhangs on 2 or 3 lvl. max depth is around 35m. with really beautiful landscape. in the deep on Your left hand side You can see Tunas, Barracudas, GT. Never seen mantas in Siaba Kecil. After dive side is finish swim right to hide from current on the protective side, south side of the island. Its covered with beautiful coral gardens on shallow where we can see lots of turtles, GT, sharks and thousands of other coral fishes.
