West of Dhigufinolhu there is a very small reef, and on its west side lies this steel wreck, from 20 to 35m. Is a good wreck for beginners or for night dive, as the ambiance is much better with night hunters.
Kuda Giri Wreck has a maximum diving depth of around 40 m / 131.2 ft and is suitable for all divers. The average visibility is 10-20 meters and access to the dive site is by boat.
Explore both the intact wreck of an unknown cargo boat and a small pinnacle.
The hull lies pointing towards the reef with the bow at 18m and the stern at 30m. The hull is about 30m long with a cargo hold at the back -the hold is small and dark so bring a torch if want to look inside. The outside of the ship is covered with corals, algae and sponges, colorful sea squirts and little fish and the odd grey frogfish can be found on the deck.
After exploring the wreck, swim over to the pinnacle and explore its small overhangs and caverns. There are plenty of hidden frog fish, leaf fish and Maldivian clown fish.
