Briefing of Cervera Shoal

Cervera Shoal, is also known as "Snake Island" or "Spagetti Shoal". The shoal gets its name from the large number of balck-and-white-banded sea snakes that can be seen here. Don't expect to see corals here, but it does makes a nice dive, with a good change to see a sea snakes and large pelagic fish. The surface current can be brutal, but it usually mellows a bit deeper. Fishtraps on the bottom and generally overfished. Allways lots of fishing boats on the site.
