Deep Wreck

One of the nine pre-war Bulgarian cargo ships owned by the Bulgarian Commercial Steamship Company. Produced by "Vulkan - Werke" A.G. Launched in 1922. Displacement 4,159 GRT. On 19.09.1941g. "Rodina" was sailing loaded with a cargo of grain from Istanbul to Varna guarded by two Bulgarian mine carriers. In the region of Sozopol against Cape Kolokita ship encounters at two mines Bulgarian mining enclosure and sink. Three people died. Crews rescued 37 people. Today, the ship lies at an average depth of about 33-40 meters below the heel of 45 degrees. Height from the bottom, 14 m. The ship is well preserved. Bow anchors are in place. Free to the superstructure and holds, which are empty. Need a diving qualification: Advanced Open Water Diver or their high. Ideal for technical diving.
