Dive Marsa Abu Dabab North

Reef

The Abu Dabab reefs are very spread out and the formation offers a large variety of dive plans. The north and northwestern reefs are home to some spectacular hard corals. The current in all areas is generally moderate. There is everything here: from caves and cave systems, a wreck, closely situated ergs, plentiful reef fish, and also larger marine life such as barracuda and whitetip reef sharks. This area is also ideal for macro photography. The reefs at Abu Dabab are sure to thrill any kind of diver.

This site is reached very quickly by zodiac in all weather conditions. The reef is terraced and is especially known for its amazing hard corals. It is usual to find here blue spotted stingrays, giant morays, octopus and whitetip reef sharks. If there is any current here it runs from north to south, but it is usually mild.
