The ultimate Great Barrier Reef scuba dive adventure - the Lady Bowen Wreck is a 220ft schooner now over 100 years old. A converted paddle steamer, she hit reef approximately 30 miles from where she eventually sank, no casualties.
The Lady Bowen now rests is 34 metres and has become a reef in itself hosting magnificent coral formations and awesome marine life. You are likely to witness natures finest in the form of gropers, sea snakes, giant turtles, lion fish and barracuda.
This wreck site is fast becoming one of Australia's premium dive destinations for advanced or experienced divers. A short trip from Mission Beach or Dunk Island, this is certainly a dive not to be missed.
