In the Months of March, April, May, and June 2 days before the full moon up until 10 days after the full moon whale sharks can be observed at Gladden Split, Belize.
Gladden Split is Located about 30 miles off the cost of Belize. What makes this place so special is that many different species of reef fish come to this specific area on the Barrier Reef to spawn and release there eggs. And, This is what attracts the whale sharks, because they come to feed on the eggs of these fishes, especially does of the Black or Cubera Snappers.
In the event no Whale Shark is Sighted, Divers can expect to have encounter with large groups of sawing fishes, as well as other reef sharks and bull sharks, dolphins, mantas, and turtles.
