- Air Temperature: from 24-29°C(75-84°F) in june-august to 27-35°C (80-90°F) dec-march
- Currents: There is always some current outside the reef due to the tides as well as the Pemba channel.
- Average Depth: 5m ( 15ft) in Mwana wa Mwana to over 40m (130ft) on the Big wall, Mnemba, many sites have 12m-16m (38ft-50ft)
- Recommended Equipment: 3 to 5mm wet suit, shorty or longsuit. Water is warm but mostly drift diving, so you won't move too much! dive center rent out most of the equipment, sometimes even u/w cameras.Equipment quality and condition varying with dive centers.
