UTD Training Center is located in Sorrento Valley, San Diego. California, a beautiful area, on the ocean, just 15 minutes north of the San Diego airport and 90 minutes south of the Los Angeles Airport. There is train service to the Sorrento Valley from the Airport and we are only a 5 min walk from the station, great restaurants and a complete range of lodging. We'll arrange transportation for you from the airports and train stations.
Our goal is to provide the highest quality classes to our worldwide members and also to provide an avenue for our current UTD Instructor Candidates to come to UTD Training Center for not only their Instructor training but for their internships and professional training.

We have very easy shore diving 10 minutes south at La Jolla Shores and 45 mins North at Laguna Beach. We have world class diving - deep and shallow wrecks, walls, kelp, and much much more. We have an in-house local dive club. We have a retail shop. We have a Zodiac for small group dives. We have arrangements with various boats - 4-pack, 8-pack, and larger. We have a UTD diving trailer and can provide all gear transportation to and from the dive sites. PLUS it is SAN DIEGO. The weather is perfect year round.
