Tropical diving runs by two very friendly french men. After just a few minutes you will feel very comfortable and they do everything they can to make you feel welcome. They have three boats that can take out a lot of customers. There are big space walking on the boat and enough places for all equipment. You can back roll, but most people just jump out on a platform. No ladder, but still easy to get up in the boat. They both speaks English which is not very common in Madagascar. They do good briefing and tell you all about the dive and what to expect. Lot of laughs on the boat. The instructor point out fishes and other fauna that's interesting. The equipment is well taken care of and looks new. The dive shop and the boats are very clean. They can't offer nitrox. They have a hose to wipe the salt of you but no changing rooms. But most people live very close by, so that's not really not a problem. If you live further up on the beach will they drop you of there. It's two dive in the morning and will be back at lunchtime. They provide you with water and fruit on the boat. Nosy Be is not big but can still offer several different dive sites. It's just 20 minute boat drive to a marine park. There are also wrecks and different coral gardens and if you are very lucky you can see Manta rays and whale sharks. I will rated it with 3 stars
