We provide experience programs (try-dives) for complete novices and also offer a variety of dive excursions for all levels of certified divers including guided dives. With safety as paramount, we are dedicated in giving a friendly and personal service so that your – Ocean Encounter – experience is a memorable one!!
But let’s be real. The world’s oceans are in peril. Our reefs are at a tipping point. As robust as they may seem their future is uncertain. In Kenya,
Ocean Encounters Diving Centre has pioneered small group diving, the only acceptable way to dive the world’s reefs. With fewer divers in the water we are minimizing impact, and exploring in a safe and responsible manner.
Ocean Encounters Diving Centre is the ultimate diving platform from which to explore our underwater kingdom. Dive Kenya and explore the underwater wonder.

On all our half day trips we start from our Divebase in the morning and if needed you can rent all the dive equipment from us. Water temperature is year around 25-30 degrees Celsius. Upon arrival to the dive site our professional guides give you a thorough dive briefing where entries, exits, dive plans and equipment checks are all explained to you very carefully. The dive itself is done in a small group lead by our Reef Guardians. During the Surface interval water and fruits are served onboard. After a short rest we will head for the 2nd dive. These programs work as a guideline and changes to dive destinations or boats may come due to weather or current conditions. We also notice the special requests from groups and try to always choose the dive sites that the ones who have been diving with us already few trips gets to a new dive site. Snorkelers are also welcome to our trips and they have a chance to spend a nice day on the sea, enjoy the sun, swim, and snorkel and see the beautiful coral reefs as well.
