What You Can Expect

The Discover Scuba Diving course is the best way to experience how it feels to breathe underwater
You will meet with your instructor at the scuba diving center where you will have the theory lesson, a briefing on safety measures, and you will learn how to use the scuba equipment
Once we finish with the theory, we will head for the sea where you will learn how to breathe underwater, how to use the scuba gear and you will practice 3 skills in waters you can stand. When you feel comfortable, you will then have a dive for 30-40 minutes down to 5-6 metres to explore the sea bed.

The practical part of the course consists of confined water dives in which you will exercise in the use of diving equipment in shallow waters as well as acquire the necessary skills for safe and enjoyable dives. After completing these you will be ready to participate in the open water dives during which you will both revise what you have learnt and learn new skills in the most interesting places of the south Evoikos gulf.

What You Can Expect

You’ll plan your course with your instructor by choosing from a variety of Adventure Dives. There are two required dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and you choose the other three (Boat diving, Night diving, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search and Recovery, Wreck diving and many more ), for a total of five dives.
During the Deep Adventure Dive, you will learn how to plan dives to deal with the challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive is focused on your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.
The web-based system lets you study at your own pace with an easy to use, interactive program. You will also have access to an online version of the Advanced Open Water Diver manual. You can also choose to study from a book.
