Thus the Haliotis created another project, this time the Centre Diving in the Azores, on the island of Santa Maria where you can find with the largest Haliotis Dive Center in Santa Maria.

The island of Santa Maria stretches for 16.6 km long and 9.1 km at its widest, occupying an area of 97 km2, inhabited by 5574 people (2008 data). Santa Maria is part of the Eastern Group of the Azores archipelago, along with São Miguel island which is distant 81 km. The highest point of the island, at 587 m above sea level, is situated in the High Peak, 36 ° 58'59'' N latitude and 25 ° 05'26'' west longitude.
