Geko Dive Bali is a scuba diving operator established in Padangbai, Bali, Indonesia since 1997. It is a PADI 5 Star dive resort and a TecRec technical dive centre. The dive shop is located right on the main beach and its two custom-made dive boats are moored less than 50 metres from the divers' cafe.
Geko Dive Bali focusing on providing a quality experience to divers of all levels. It is a small operation with a friendly feel to it and is perfect for divers who are traveling alone, couples and families.
Geko Dive Bali guarantees small groups of maximum 4 divers and often less. Private guiding is also available and proves itself to be popular with underwater photographers and experienced divers. There is no maximum duration for dives and groups stay underwater until someone reaches 50 bar / 600 psi.
Courses are often taught one on one and again there is a guarantee that no more than 4 students will take part in the course. The Geko Dive Team teaches all levels from Discover Scuba Diving introductory dive program to Assistant Instructor, through Open Water Diver, Advanced, Rescue and Divemaster. Many PADI specialties such as Photography, Nitrox, Sidemount, Equipment Specialist, Drift Diving or Self-Reliant diver are also available.
We also specialise in technical diving. We teach both sidemount and backmount courses from the TecRec technical dive curriculum. Technical dive gear rental, such as twin tanks, deco tanks, deco regs or technical dive computers, is also available in order to support your expedition needs.

This course enables you to gain more supervised experience, perfecting skills and exploring interests that you have. There are 2 compulsory dives (Deep dive and Navigation Dive) and 3 optional dives. PADI Open Water Diver Course

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world's most popular scuba course, and has introduced millions of people to the adventurous diving lifestyle. The PADI Open Water Diver Course is a certification course which, upon completion, enables you to dive independently to a maximum depth of 18m. The PADI Open Water Diver certification is recognised worldwide. You must complete the PADI Open Water Diver course in order to continue on with other PADI certification courses.
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
Knowledge Development (online, home study or in a classroom ) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
Open Water Dives to review your skills and explore!

Padang Bai is a great place to dive. Local dive sites are just a few hundred meters from the dive center. Reef sharks, green turtles, cephalopods, seahorses, scorpionfish, pipefish, frogfish, jackfish, tunas, barracudas and many more can be seen less than 5 minutes by boat from our shop. The Geko Dive Team also dives all around Bali. Mola-molas oceanic sunfish, manta rays, sharks and a wealth of macro critters are available to divers. What makes Bali so special is the diversity of diving experiences that one may encounter here: from wall to wrecks, through reefs, deep and drift diving!
