KAS

Kas, one of the most beautiful ports on the Lycian land of light, is known as the “adventure capital of the Mediterranean”. A unique place where natural and archeological beauties are united in perfect harmony. Kas has succeeded in protecting itself from mass tourism, remaining an untouched paradise on earth.

This up-market town, with its winding cobbled streets, excellent restaurants, bars small shops and boutiques, is home of many of the best diving schools in the Mediterranean Sea and has numerous other activities to offer its guests from walking the Lycian Way and sea kayaking to paragliding. The majestic nature of Kas clearly attracts thousands of people every year and is addictive. With the construction of a new marina, Kas has also become a favorite destination for many boats and yachts, and provides a range of different boat tours.

With its turquoise sea, its architecture and vibrant night life, our little town offers an excellent alternative for a dream vacation. However to feel and experience the true spirit and energy of Kas, a diving experience is essential.

As a professional team who love living in Kas we’ve never lost that amateur enthusiasm for what we do and it gives us great pleasure to see our guests share our experience and enjoy the holiday of a lifetime.

Kas is situated midway between Antalya (180 km) and Dalaman (150 km) airports. There are numerous flights to both of these destinations and transport can be arranged easily.

Kas and Diving

Kas, with its small islands like pearls scattered into in the sea, its beautiful bays and rich underwater life, is just like a water paradise. All shades of blue and green welcome divers from all levels and future divers as well.

The deep structure, superb clarity, horizontal visibility, archaeological monuments and numerous submerged views render Kas a highly important diving spot not only in Turkey but throughout the world. As a result of intense training and briefing over the last 3 years, the diversity of underwater life has increased making the diving experience in Kas very special indeed. Divers now have the chance to see an amazing variety of Mediterranean species from sea turtles, Mediterranean monk seals and dolphins to tiny nudibranchs.

As a Specially Protected Areas (SPA) we are proud to say that each and every diving center in Kas attends seminars organized by WWF in the knowledge that it is a privilege to visit this extraordinary blue underwater world. The Divection family take particular pride in acting as responsible caretakers of their unique underwater home, and making others aware that we are merely a part of nature.

Certified Divers
Whether you are a newly certified diver, a less experienced one or a professional diver, we tailor-make your experience to your liking with its special surface structure and more than 20 diving points. You can live the canyoning experience under water or breathe in the historical air by visiting numerous submerged shipwrecks or archaeological monuments.

As a team in love with the underwater world, Divection Diving Centre always aims to ensure that you enjoy the diving experience as much as we do. That is why we limit our group size to as small a group as possible, and provide a detailed briefing to guide you through discovering the magical blue of the Mediterranean.

Introduction to Underwater

If you want to realize your underwater curiosity and ambition with a trustworthy group, Divection is the right team for you, ready to keep you entertained at all times!

Starting with a pre-dive briefing and a personal underwater Divection instructor guide, we will make your first diving experience comfortable and unforgettable. We aim to make your unforgettable experience a memorable one by capturing your unforgettable experience.

Diving Trainings

After meeting the underwater for the first time, if you feel that you would like to get to know more of this world in detail or you would like to improve your diving experience to a more progressed level, it is possible to do so with our training programs.

We provide an entry level course sensitive to your schedule and special needs, and a certificate valid worldwide upon completion. Our staff, authorized to provide training with different training schools, such as PADI and CMAS, will give you the option to choose a program most suitable for you, within roughly 3 days, making you a certificated diver.

If you are a diver who wants simply to improve your level or even become an instructor, we can create a program specifically for you, helping you to reach your goal effectively.

Whilst safety is paramount, we promise to do our best to make the vacation you have been looking forward to fun as well!

Our Team
Muammar Meric: Always smiling, this intuitive instructor of ours started diving in 2006 and has been a guide and an instructor ever since to many divers. He has the PADI OWSI certificate and is a 3 star CMAS diver at the same time.

Perin Özant: Perin started wearing the diving tube ever since she was 14 and is a PADI advanced open water diver. Her actual job is the marketing of Divection abroad as she speaks fluent Italian, French and English and occasionally does errands on the boat when she is with us 
Ipek Dinc :
One of the most experienced divers and chief instructor on our boat, Ipek started her diving journey in Kas. She has nurtured countless new divers with her infinite patience and her compassion. Both a CMAS and a PADI instructor, Ipek can speak German and English to a sufficient level.

Arda Tataroglu:
Our boats handsome diver Arda is a CMAS 3 star diver. His 7 years of experience on diving and shipping, has made Arda fully equipped and ready to be your leader in the blue sea.

Umit Cetin:
Our most helpful captain has been sailing the Mediterranean Sea for 9 years and the smile on his face has never faded. Our boat Alperin and the team adore him!
Our boat
A comfortable, homely decorated boat, Alperin is 17 metres long, 4.60 metres wide and equipped to the highest standard with 2 toilets and a kitchen where we cook delicious food. We have the capacity for 35 divers and with its specially designed structure – all wet areas are covered in teak, flexible awnings offer excellent protection against the wind and there is hot water on demand for those chilly winter dives. Shaded or sunny areas on the top deck and bow also provide the ideal opportunity to relax between dives in the summer time. Essentially, we have brand new Mares dive suites’ bcd, regulators and Alkim compressors.
