We leave Cartagena at 8:00 a.m. and we will be back around 1:30 p.m. approximately.
We will see a great variety of fauna and flora, the temperature of the water is very nice and comfortable you don’t even need a wetsuit, the visibility is excellent almost all year long and we have more than 30 dive spots and types of dives that you can choose from.
The dives are characterized for the beauty of the coral, the great visibility and the great variety of life you will see. The coral is in great shape and there are hundreds of small but beautiful reef fish just waiting to be admired by you, so what are you waiting for, come down and visit us and let the adventure begin.
Our dive leaders always carry under water digital cameras and the pictures are included in the dive plan.
The snorkeling plan or non-diving companion that includes two snorkeling tours, full gear a snack and transportation.
The night dive plan, it’s a single dive that includes full scuba gear, necessary extra equipment (flashlight) and transportation. We leave at 6:30 p.m. and get back around 8:30 p.m.
We can also offer you a mixed dive plan, day dive + night dive, leaving from Cartagena at 4 pm doing the day dive and doing a surface interval of about an hour or until the sun comes down to do the night dive, we will be back by 8:00 pm. All includes full scuba diving gear, day insurance and a snack.
We have dive packages for multiple dives, if there are two or more divers and you want to dive for 3 or more days we can offer you special discounts.

my name is Juan Jose Chavarriaga and I’m a PADI instructor from BUZOS DE BARU, the best scuba diving school in Cartagena. The open water PADI course includes: theory class (8-10 hours of self study), pool practical dive exercises, 4 certification dives in the ocean (two per day), international certification card, videos, study book and dive log book, full scuba gear transportation to and from the dive sites and a snack between the dives (fruit, water, juice and cookies). You don’t kneed any previous knowledge of diving or be a professional swimmer. It also includes insurance and tax you don’t need to pay any extras. Each day of diving starts at 8:00 am wen leave from the dock in Cartagena and we will be back around 1:30 pm, this is good because you still have half of the day to enjoy the city. We will see a great variety of fauna and flora, the temperature of the water is very nice and comfortable you don’t even need a wetsuit, the visibility is excellent almost all year long and we have more than 30 dive spots and types of dives that you can choose from. The course can last from 3 to 5 days depending on you’re the time and enthusiasm you put in to it, you have to keep in mind you cant fly for at least 12 hours after your last dive so you cant leave the same day of your last dive. Five days is the perfect time to plan your stay in Cartagena to take the course. Our dive leaders always carry under water digital cameras and the pictures are included in the dive plan.
