Ligurian Riviera. Here, between the famous
Portofino Promontory Marine Park and the
fascinating wrecks from Liguria, Tortuga Diving
Portofino & Santa Margherita Ligure is one of
the few diving centers of the area having direct
access to both the beach and the wharf. This
enviable position is but one of the distinctive
features you’ll find at Tortuga Diving. Indeed, it
was the one of the first Italian diving center to
become a Five Star PADI Instructor
Development Center: the best for a PADI diving
center. This achievement is grounded on fundamentalrequirements such as quality of the air
used for tank refill, guest service, boats and promotion of
environmental awareness programmes.
Dive boats
2 zodiacs 8.5 m long and 1 cabin boat are always ready
for you at the jetty, each powered by a Volvo engine
270 CV and equipped with all that’s needed to ensure
you a pleasant and safe dive: place for 12/14 tanks,
echosounder, safety equipment, oxygen and first aid.
Hours of Operation:
7:30 AM to 19:00 PM
365 days a year!
During the week ends, our boats leave every two hours
form dawn (7.30 a.m.) to dusk. And what about a night
dive? From Monday to Friday we have two dive times
scheduled: 10.30 a.m. and 2.30. p.m. You chose when
and how many dives: we’re always here!

We are one of the few diving centers in the area having direct access to the wharf. This avoids tedious and somehow risky road crossings. Our boats are moored at 50 m distance from the diving and, as far as you equipment is concerned, we’ll take care of it. Three karts run restlessly back and forth to the jetty, while tanks are already lined up there waiting for you! Thanks to a joint-venture with Cressi Sub, at Tortuga Diving you’ll find the ultimate equipment. We have 50 complete diving sets for our guests. Don’t lose your chance to try the most up-to-date Cressi products before they’ll are released to the market. We have 180 tanks, not mentioning the 30 Nitrox-dedicated ones. Nitrox and gas blended refills are also available thanks to a LW compressor implemented with high quality filters. Air, nitrox, Oxygen and trimix.
