Divers Cape

Divers Cape Unipessoal Lda, is a professional diving school, situated in the Port of Baleeira in the extreme south-western corner of Europe, in the village of Sagres, which remains mostly unchanged.

Divers Cape is based on professionalism, competence, safety, hygiene and sympathy, with a staff of instructors who are experienced, qualified and certified by PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors), performing regular diving courses at various levels and specialised courses.

The school was formed in January 2008,by the Technical Director and Instructor Daniel Balmer, MSDT - 912564 aiming towards the teaching of qualified recreational divers. We aim to cover all aspects in the field of recreational diving and professional diving for business, offering interesting diving packages and courses at different levels, and prices.
We aim to provide all who come to our school, moments of relaxation away from stress and extra work, motivating the practice of sport and leisure, bringing together leaders and employees in mini breaks, meetings or company events, in calm and idyllic corners of Portugal, here in beautiful Sagres.
Lots of the activities are aimed at bringing people together, spending unforgettable moments away from pressures and stress, therefore establishing a better foundation future for your company.

The dive boat are equipped with 2 Engines 2 X Mercury ME-250XL OPT SWB, all necessary licenses, liability insurance and are equipped with emergency equipment, emergency plan, radio, oxygen- and first aid kit. There is also a cabin with bathroom.

Trawler Caves Trip Rock wall that rises from 20m depth and rising more than 50m out of water, forming the eastern tip of Sagres and the "wall" to shelter the fishing port of Sagres. In addition to many sea fans and sea stars of many colours, there is plenty of wildlife, such as bream, sea bass and other fish species. The existence also of some caves, that are more than 20 meters in diameter, make this a very interesting and unique dive Inside the caves you can see: lobster, eels, crabs and octopuses. The cave "cathedral" is composed of stalactites and stalagmites. Destination: Two dives in spectacular caves in the cliffs of curly Atalaia "Secret", "Cathedral" and "Swiss Cheese". Qualifications Minimum: Open Water Diver Time: Fridays from the port of Baleeira at 08.30h, returning at 14.30h. Boat: Trawler "Estrela do Rio" Reservations: Two days in advance, with a maximum 15, minimum 4 divers. Dive program: Making a splash in the morning in the caves. Pause for a relaxing lunch, served on board. Second dive later in the afternoon. Menu choice: Option 1: Roast chicken with chips & salad. Option 2: Tuna salad & bread. Beverages: Red wine and water.
