I'm in Barcelona for 4 months, where are the best places and which dive center can I choose? I'm open water.

I think costa brava is the best place, try L'estartit o Cadaques, both villages have nice dive centers and you can go by train

Finally I found the place, a diving center called sa caleta in Lloret the mar. Take a look here: http://divescover.com/dive-centers/spain/catalonia/lloret-de-mar

Next to the French border is a small town called cadaques... and next to this is the national park creus. very nice and beautiful, there is a couple of small dive centers around. there is even one in remote bay run by a familiy and an attached diving school, if you want to relax from stressy barcelona ... :-) Out on the balear islands it is also worth to put your head in the water, but for this i recommend the AOWD or simmilar to be down, because as an OWD you can't really enjoy the vedra in front of Ibiza, or the Plataforma next to Formentera (both world class spots)
