its so awesome it like going to a whole other world
every thing is peaceful and quit
and if you close your eyes i swear you could go to sleep
plus despite what people say, you actually have i better chance getting in a car wreck on the way to the dive sit than getting bit by a shark

it's fantastic - bit freaky breathing under water at first but well worth doing. It's amazing leisurely drifting through water and seeing fish and coral close up.
make sure you are on PADI course as these are best and you will learn all you need to learn before you go into sea. If not PADI make sure its very good. You could take lessons here to get prepared - lots of scuba diving courses in UK

Hi, Egypt is wonderful, however be prepared that Naama Bay is quite a noisy place to be at. Also, not much of coral or fish to see, for that you need to go somewhere else. If you have a chance, try to get out of Naama to Sharm el-Sheikh, there are some best stops to go scuba diving. So if you see there boats running around the coast, go for it, they put you in the best spots there. Near Fanara hotel or near Hilton there are some good spots to visit. Also, if you will have a chance to get to Ras Mohammad, do so.

Diving is one of the most fun things you can do while wearing rubber ;-)
Really relaxing and wonderful.
If you have time before you head for Egypt, contact your local BSAC branch for "Try Dive" which is much cheaper than the "Discover SCUBA" course. If you are at uni, most have a sub aqua club.

Take a Discover SCUBA class to find out for your self, before you go. That could be your first step into one of the greatest pastimes. :)

Next time youu have a bath put your head under the water and visualise a tropical subsea coral reef around you. Try a few swimming strokes maybe, can you breathe through a straw? that would help.

Egypt is a wonderful place to learn to dive, they have some fabulous coral reef's and a great range of marine life. Diving courses are readily available at most tourist resorts - you will have a great time.
