This dive site is where I first learnt to dive in open water. The site is lovely with good access to the water and good parking facilities. There is a dive shop and cafe, bar and food hatch ( external weather permitting). The staff there a very friendly and good to have a laugh with and they are very helpful. There is also a tank refill facility which is a reasonable price of 3 quid. The lake itself is quite silty so visibility can be affected if the floor is disturbed but that adds to the training experience in my opinion. There are many underwater features that can be explored and some are pretty cool ( i will let you discover them for yourselves ). All in all I think this is a very good dive site, with good facilities, good staff and accessible for all from novice to more experienced. I would recommend this site to everyone.
