Cave Deep Drift Wall
This unique site rounds a cliff that faces the deep ocean. The shallow flat is at a depth of three to five meters. The wall starts only a few meters from the cliff overhead. Because of the angle at which the cliff pushes into the sea and the closeness of the mountain above it, the wall rarely receives direct sunlight. In this twilight, dense corals of neighboring sites are replaced with sponges, tunicates and other encrustating marine life of dazzling colors. The cliff directly faces the heavy surf from east winds. This has and continues to cause cavern formation, falling boulders and rocky reef surface.
