Dhigura Arches
South Ari Atoll, Maldives
Reef Drift Wall
There are many different ways of enjoying the Dhiugrashu Kandu. Besides the amazing thilas of Broken rock or Dhangethi Thila, there is this 300m drift dive along the south part of the channel, where the top reef is at 5m dropping off to 25. The name comes because the reef forms arches with the dropoffs and the frequent overhangs. During south west monsoon and with the proper current, mantas can be seen here, and ocassionally (rarely) whale sharks coming from the southern part of Ari.
