Currents: Some dives have strong current, in particular the channel of Belle Mare, which has frequent violent currents (most of the dives here are drift dives)
Average Depth: 8-35 m, except some ship wrecks located in the South-West area, which are diveable but found far deeper: the “St-Gabriel“ (-41m), the “Orient“ (-47m) or still, the “Carp“ (-72m).
Recommended Equipment: 3-7mm wet suit
Highlights: Dramatic geological terrain with caves, tunnels, canyons, arches, etc.; Big concentrations of pelagic marine life, and lots of wrecks

Seasons: Diving is possible all year round but the best season is in summertime (November to April), where the waters temperature can reach 29°C. In winter the sea can fall below 20°C, the waters are rough and visibility gets quite poor.
