The Utila Dive Centre is the Premier PADI Career Development Centre in Central America and the Caribbean. We offer diving packages, accommodation, PADI certification courses from beginner to Instructor (monthly PADI IDC’s), GoPro internship programs, marine ecology training.

In 2011 and 2010 we were voted #1 PADI Instructor Development Center by PADI Americas and also in 2010 by Sport Diver, and over the years our staff have received countless awards for their training and environmental efforts.Our divers are guided in small personal groups and our students receive the strictest class ratios on the island, no other facility in Central America offers such dedicated supervision and personal customer service as Utila Dive Centre. I did my Advanced, Rescue, and Divemaster with UDC. I had no plan of doing IDC but the training was so impeccable that i decided to become an instructor with them. The Divemaster program is amazing. You can assist on so many courses and really get proper training. Declan, Sarah, Mark, and Jhair (IDC) are amazing instructors. Do advanced with Sarah and Rescue with Dec. Andy Phillips runs the show there and is amazing with customer service. You send him an email, or have any question about anything, he is on it. Amazing customer service, very professional, and UDC makes everything so fun!

I've chose a UDC (Utila Dive Center), located on Utila Island to do my Divemaster Internship. And I have to say, I couldn't be happier with my desision. The divemasters and instructors were amazing, they knowledge and experience is second to none. They provide very personal approach to learning, always there if you need any help or advice. I can not recomend highly enough this school. And tey prices are amongst the lowest, to do any diving course. Saying that, the profesionalism and work attitude is up to highest standarts.

UDC is a great dive facility with a professional and friendly staff. Everything from the boats to the equipment is top notch. I have done two certification courses and am currently pursuing my Divemaster.

I have been here the last 7 weeks and made my Divemaster here. Really nice Dive Center with 5 Boats, nice Instructors, good education, equipment to rent OK (not the newest wetsuits!), own BBQ, own small bar and evening events like Pubquiz, BBQNigth and Pokernigth.
