ScubaCaribe in Sal Island in Cape Verde is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center and Water Sports Center which is located on the beautiful beach of Riu Funana and Riu Palace Cabo Verde.
Our dive center provides all of its services for guest staying in both of the hotels.
At Sal Island you will discover the beauty of Cape Verde and all its hidden treasures. Large white sandy beaches, friendly people, warm weather and marine life which is just stunning. From small nudibranches to humpback whales. Large fish schools, healthy corals and many more underwater surprises.
We offer dive trips on daily basis to the most interesting dive spots located max 25 min by boat from our dive base. The number of sites for beginners and for experienced divers is equally balanced, so everyone can enjoy his own dive style.
It has to be said that the conditions during December through March are more difficult, due to rougher seas and colder water. July, August, September and October are the calmest and the best months for diving activities.
Our professional team will always choose a right dive spot taking in consideration current weather conditions, experience and interest of divers. We dive in small groups which are led by instructors or experienced dive masters.
As our dive center is located on the beautiful wide long beach, everyone can enjoy different sport activities using our new and well maintained equipment.
Apart from diving, ScubaCaribe has in the offer water sport equipment, kayaks, paddle boat, body boards and windsurfs for professional windsurfers which can take advantage of windy months on Sal Island.

Please note that divers who haven’t dived for a long time may be asked to do a Refresh Course.

We offer free of charge Nitrox tanks for divers who are certificated Enriched Air Divers!
