Key Dives

Key Dives offers:

*Valet diving service: After you bring us your gear on the first day, you don’t touch it again until the day you pack up. We take it to and from the boat, set it up for you, switch it over between dives, rinse it, and hang it to dry so it is ready to go the next day. We call this service “goochi diving” (we might get in trouble if we use the actual spelling). We do all the work so you can focus on relaxing and enjoying your dives.

*Guided dives with our marine life enthusiasts (maximum 6 divers to 1 divemaster guide): Key Dives is a 100% guided dive shop; all guides being highly qualified to look after your safety, take care of the navigation, and point out the cool marine life. We actually bring slates down with us underwater so we can write down the names of the critters you see throughout the dive.

*Free use of dive computer when you rent a regulator from us.

*No Overcrowding: Who wants to be on a boat rated for 32 divers with 32 other divers? Most of our competitors don’t mind this but we certainly do. Our largest boat is rated for 32 but we take no more than 18 divers. Now this is scuba diving the Florida Keys the Key Dives way!

*A wide variety of dive sites & dive experiences: Key Dives can take you on drift dives, wreck dives, shallow reef, deep reefs, night dives, lionfish culls, lobstering and more. We aim to make your dive experience unforgettable, so tell us what you are interested in and we will work to incorporate it into your dives with us.

*Hot Showers on Board: For the thin blooded folk, why not warm up between and after your dives with a nice hot shower. Now that’s service!!

*Over 517 fish species on our Islamorada reefs have been scientifically identified which means our reefs are some of the most biologically diverse in the entire Caribbean.

*A complete menu of dive classes: We offer the full range of PADI and SSI courses from beginner to professional level. We also have professional underwater photography experts who can customize classes to help you take your DSLR photography to the next level.
