Dive courses and dive tours all led by UW naturalist guides. We are located 30 minutes navigation from Coiba Island and 20 minutes navigation from the Coia National Parks best dive sites. We offer clean, comfortable inexpensive accomodation and full board. We have a full range of activities for none divers too. We work in harmony with the community of Pixvae. Pixvae has a bueatiful protected beach, and is a new destination and the new Gateway to Access Coiba. We have a selection of local dive sites for all levels of comfort and training levels, up to technical diving. We offer night dives on local sites just 5 mins from our center. Pixvae and Dive Base Coiba are located on a remote but spectacular part of the western pacific coast of Panama. At time of writing, Pixvae is completly off the beaten track and tourism radar screen. We at Dive Base Coiba support local communities, schools and universities. Our program has a stron socio econmic and education aspect. Your visit to Dive Base Coiba creates work and income for many people living below the bread line. We have over 20 years experience diving this área. Our staff were the first to explore this regions potential for scuba diving tourism over 20 years ago. We work closely with the scientific community and worked as consultants for the Diving componant for the Management Plan for UNESCO for the Coiba Nationa Park.
