Our 5-Star Dive Centre, located in JEDDAH, was purpose-built for your Diving comfort and convenience. Nothing has been left out to give you the best of what we have to offer.
The Red Sea has always been rated as one on the top ten diving destinations in the world. With Desert Sea Divers you will have our part of the Red Sea to yourselves. With over 60 (and still counting) dive sites and only a handful of operators we doubt that you will ever see another dive boat, never mind experiencing "cattle diving"!
Christoff December 5th, 2015 - 10:08:Don’t go to Desert Sea Divers (DSD) – a 5 Star PADI Dive Center in Jeddah. That’s the worst place for diving in Saudi Arabia, and in the world. The Red Sea is famous for its diving spots, so I was looking forward for some great moments – but everything went horrible wrong. On Thursday (3.12.2015) they confirmed diving by boat, on Friday (4.12.2015), only shore diving was possible due to weather conditions (blue sky, sunshine, less wind...not sure if this statement was correct, or if they had not enough divers for an economical reasonable boat trip). A „taxi“ driver from DSD promised me to pick me up from the hotel on Saturday morning (5.12.2015) at 7.15am. 40 minutes later, I took a cab, because the driver never showed up. When I arrived at the DSD shop, they told me to move to a different diveshop. Instead of getting in touch with an instructor and to pick up my equipment, they did ask me to wait for a dive-buddy who“maybe might come“, because a dive instructor won’t be available. How can a professioanl dive center allow divers to go diving at a spot without an instructor or dive master who knows the place? PADI should rethink what kind of diving centers are supported by its network. When I told them that I want to go back to my hotel, the DSD employees refused to call a taxi. Conclusion: I was wasting a lot of money and time by selecting this dive center. If you want to dive at the Red Sea, don’t get in touch with Desert Sea Divers, Jeddah.
