Nuarro Lodge is an unspoiled and breathtakingly beautiful place located in the blue waters of the Indian Ocean in Northern Mozambique. We are a community and ecological resort that work directly with the local village. The resort is spreads along 1 km of beautiful white sand beach. We are located in a remote area at 2h from Nacala, in north of Mozambique. Due to our isolated location we are self sufficient in power and fresh water. Around us we have only local villages with no electrical power, so don’t except to find any western shops or night life.
We are blessed with a fantastic reef wall that spreads from more than 20km parallel to our shores. We are the only place in Mozambique where you can dive a wall directly from the beach. At the moment we have 14 dive sites within 5 to 15m by speedboat. More dive sites will come as we are still exploring new places. The reefs are untouched, pristine and colourful. You won’t meet the crowds of other divers here. There is no other diving operation in the area. We don’t have any regular sharks, whale sharks or manta rays but instead a fantastic life of all types of juvenile fishes, batfishes, harlequin shrimps, nudibranches, scorpion leaf fishes and so on. The night dives are excellent and the waters are most of the times calm with very middle currents. The visibility can range from 10m on a bad day to 40m on a fantastic day.
