Azul Diving Center is a top service SSI and PADI dive center located at Quinta do Lorde Resort – Hotel – Marina on beautiful Madeira Island. Our focus is on custom-tailored dive and snorkel trips, individual training and small, fun groups of people! Enjoy a morning or afternoon dive in our stunning house reef, easy accessible from the beach or our jetty.
Our friendly and professional staff ensures your holiday will be a truly memorable one. Come and follow an SSI or PADI course, from beginners to professional levels, with one of our qualified instructors. We provide you with a personal service that will make your Scuba Diving course with us your best one yet.
Our boat is docked only steps away from our shop in Quinta do Lorde’s private marina and ready to go diving.
We have a well stocked retail shop and a rental center on site so that we can accommodate all of your needs with brand new Cressi equipments.
We offer everyday house reef and boat dives; SSI and PADI courses are available everyday according to your needs and our instructors’ availability.
We are open from 8am to 6pm, 7 days a week.

Azul Diving Center welcomes you in Madeira! Have a look at the beautiful village of Quinta do Lorde Resort: Azul Diving Center is located in the heart of the marina, waiting for you! We will gladly accompany you in the most picturesque dive spots of the island, from Sao Lourenço Marine Reserve and stunning bays to spectacular Ilhas Desertas (Deserted Islands), protected area since 2000 and beloved territory of rare monk seal, Monachus monachus. Wonder how is “making bubbles” underwater? Jump with us in our natural pool and enjoy your first underwater breathing in a safe environment! Fancy an easy access to the sea? Thanks to our beach or jetty, you will enjoy a relaxed dive any time you desire. If you prefer speed, our fast boat, homologated up to twelve people, will take you on a short time to the most exciting dive spots in Madeira. Have you ever met a “sea wolf”? That’s the way local Portuguese people call the rare monk seal. Enjoy our half-day trip to Ilhas Desertas, and you’ll have the chance to see not only this elegant animal, but also dolphins, whales or even turtles swimming in the transparent waters of the Marine Reserve.
