A scuba life example
In this blog, and in this website, we try hard to inspire and motivate you. The non divers, to take the plunge and discover the under water world. The divers, to dive more, to care more, and to learn more. We write articles about how it is the underwater world, what it means to volunteer, to take care of the ocean, to buy your equipment, or what it involves when becoming instructor. But there are no words that can explain that life until you really see it with your own eyes.
There are some people in the world that just change the rules. They decide to live differently, in their own way, and to inspire people all around. I could write a million posts in here, but none of them would have the same effect as a conversation with these people.
One of them was Christian Achton. Without him, Divescover would not be what it is right now. Without him, many people wouldn’t have discovered their passion. He was a real example of what means to be a dive instructor and to change people lives day after day, just by being yourself. He had a real Scuba Diving Life.
We just lost a good friend, a Divescover Ambassador, one of the best dive instructors I’ve ever met, and a great ocean care taker. A very sad day for all of us. Let’s dive in your honor, Christian Achton.
The best memory we can have of him is enjoying around his beloved manta rays:
